The studio designs with an eco-friendly approach that puts people and the environment at the centre. It starts from a conscious choice of materials, weighing their impact over the whole life cycle of the product: production, use and end of life. Each stage is studied to reduce waste and encourage durability, repair and recycling.

The studio’s Poltrona Sacco (bean bag chair) is made from reused textile waste. Working with local organisations, clothes headed for disposal are recovered and turned into new furniture. A project that combines sustainability, design and care for the territory, giving new form and value to what seemed to have none left.

The studio uses 3D modelling software to give shape to new ideas. Digital modelling produces virtual prototypes, ready to be developed by hand or with additive 3D printing. Modelling also makes realistic renders possible, useful to communicate and visualise the project at every stage.
